This image depicts a U.S. Air Force F-84G Thunderjet on a mission deep in Korea..
"Night Take Off/Ruth" (s/n 110437/FS-437) flew with the 58th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, July 1952.
The F-84 Was the first succesful jet-powered strike aircraft in the Air Force inventory. Built to the ruggedness standards of its World War II predecessor, the P-47 Thunderbolt, the Thunderjet proved its worth and durability during the harsh Korean campaign.

His work is mostly known by box cover art on aircraft model kits made by Revell and Monogram, for whom he has done over 300 images (now including car box art and Star Wars items too). Stu has also worked in the Computer Game and Internet Community industries. He also creates art in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genres, with his strength in spaceship design and environments.
